Psalms 23:4
4 Even when I walk through the darkest valley, I will not be afraid, for you are close beside me. Your rod and your staff protect and comfort me.

- When passing through pitch-black valleys of despair, believers fear no evil because God’s intimate presence replaces loneliness, while His protective rod and guiding staff provide fierce defense and comforting security.
- Like David, during our darkest times the Holy Scriptures have proven to us to not fear or worry. The Lord is by our side never leaving us or forsaking us. The more we trust the more peace we will receive as we see His hand at work. Let this guide our thoughts today.
