September - Day 22

Let this guide our thoughts today!

Psalms 4:8
8 In peace I will lie down and sleep, for you alone, O LORD, will keep me safe.

- Betrayed by his son and hunted by enemies, David trusted God's absolute protection, trading paralyzing anxiety for peaceful sleep because divine sovereignty guarantees safety regardless of life’s dangerous circumstances.
- We are going to go through very challenging trials. For David it didn’t get any worse, but He chose to trust in the Lord and His victory came from the Lord. In the same way, the Lord will protect and provide for us regardless of our circumstances. Let this guide our thoughts today.
