October - Day 4

Let this guide our thoughts today!

Isaiah 60
“Arise, shine, for your light has come, and the glory of the LORD rises upon you. 2 See, darkness covers the earth
and thick darkness is over the peoples, but the LORD rises upon you and his glory appears over you.

- This mirrors Jesus. The world's "darkness" this represents sin and His death on the cross. "Arise, shine" foretells Christ's resurrection, bringing God’s light and hope to everyone.
- Salvation has come to all mankind and though your day may experience darkness the Lord rises upon those who believe, trust, and follow HIM because HIS glory extinguishes all darkness. Let this guide our thoughts today.
