May - Day 24

Let this guide our day today
Psalms 30:5
5 For his anger lasts only a moment, but his favor lasts a lifetime; weeping may stay for the night, but rejoicing comes in the morning.
- While the Lord’s anger lasts only for a short period of time, His favor is permanent. Just as night becomes day, David’s sorrow has become joy. The morning often represents restoration or blessing in the psalms.
-Here’s something to think about. If God doesn’t hold onto His anger, and we know His favor is permanent with us, why do we hold onto our problems? Most of our anger comes from our problems and that leads to decline of health, joy, and peace. Rejoice and be glad. It’s morning. Let this guide our thoughts today.
