Isaiah 61:1

The Spirit of the Sovereign Lord is upon me, for the Lord has anointed me to bring good news to the poor. He has sent me to comfort the brokenhearted and to proclaim that captives will be released and prisoners will be freed.

- The Hebrew word for Messiah is related to the verb for anointing. bring good news implies a messenger bringing a favorable announcement. Isaiah 41:27 announces that God would send a herald of good news.

-Jesus is that Messiah and the Good News messenger. EVERYTHING satan tries to bind us with Jesus freed us from. Don’t give satan his power back. Read His word, know His word, and walk in the peace and freedom of His word. Let this guide our thoughts today.
