Let this guide our day today

1 Peter 1

24 As the
Scriptures say, “People are like grass;their
beauty is like a flower in the field.The grass
withers and the flower fades.25 But the
word of the Lord remains forever.”And that word is the Good
News that was preached to you.

-Peter is quoting Isaiah 40:6-8. Only God is all
power and by His power all things wither, fade and pass away but you can be
sure that His Word remains forever. Jesus is the Word made flesh and God made
man. Instead of worrying and placing your trust in things that are going to
fade, and that may include your challenges in life, place them in that which
remains forever and let that guide your thoughts today.
