Let this guide our day today

2 Samuel 22:33:34

33 God is my strong fortress,and he makes my way perfect. 34 He
makes me  as surefooted as a deer, enabling me to stand on mountain heights.

-David is making it clear here that only God is the fortress that makes our way perfect. The deer David described are sure-footed. They are a powerful picture of the firm footing on which believers stand.

-Life is going to throw us challenges but the question we need to ask ourselves is are our feet standing on the foundation of HIS word or the strength of our earthly abilities. Let this guide our thoughts today.
