Let this guide our day today

2 Timothy 4:8
8 And now the prize awaits me—the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will give me on the day of his return. And the prize is not just for me but for all who eagerly look forward to his appearing.

- Christ, the righteous Judge, promises eternal rewards and the crown of righteousness to all believers who faithfully anticipate His second coming.
-So much sorrow and pain come from us chasing prizes here on this earth that will die and be no more. The one’s that hurt the most are the prizes we chase to please and be accepted by others. Chase after the righteousness of God and experience the difference and joy that begins to unfold. Let this guide our lives today.
