Let this guide our day today

2 Corinthians 5:8
8 We are confident, yes, well pleased rather to be absent from the body and to be present with the Lord.

- Believers who die leave their earthly bodies and immediately enter the conscious, joyful presence of Jesus Christ in heaven.
- When the earthly body dies we are immediately present with the Lord HOWEVER being passionate in the Holy Scriptures we are present with the Lord while in our earthly bodies. The same peace in heaven with the Lord is here for us on earth while we are present in the Word. Let this lead our thoughts today.
