Let this guide our day today

2 Corinthians 1:21-22
21 It is God who enables us, along with you, to stand firm for Christ. He has commissioned us, 22 and He has identified us as His own by placing the Holy Spirit in our hearts as the first installment that guarantees everything He has promised us.

-God establishes, commissions, and seals believers in Christ. The indwelling Holy Spirit is a down-payment guaranteeing the full and certain fulfillment of His promises.
- The Holy Spirit is proof that we belong to the Lord, the King of the Universe. Through Christ's death and resurrection, we find a peace that remains steady regardless of our circumstances. Because every promise in the Holy Scriptures is guaranteed, we can choose to rest in His truth rather than succumb to the fear and limited understanding of our own finite minds. Let this guide our thoughts today.
