Let this guide our day today

Psalms 116 NLT  6 The LORD protects those of childlike faith; I was facing death, and he saved me.  

• This is King David delivering this Psalm. He was saying he was helpless with no hope of survival, but he had no doubt that the Lord would rescue him. His faith did not come with the fear of his surroundings. It came with the power of who God is, not the evil he was facing.   

• I’m not sure what is coming against you today but take your eyes off what seems to be impossible and put it on who is possible. Evil could not defeat David because he kept his eyes on the Lord. It’s no different for us today. Let this guide our thoughts today.
