Let this guide our day today

1 Corinthians 13 NLT  4 Love is patient and kind. Love is not jealous or boastful or proud 5 or rude. It does not demand its own way. It is not irritable, and it keeps no record of being wronged. 6 It does not rejoice about injustice but rejoices whenever the truth wins out. 7 Love never gives up, never loses faith, is always hopeful, and endures through every circumstance.  

• We could never be able to walk in this love if Jesus didn’t walk in it first for our sake. This love was clearly expressed to us when Jesus willingly climbed on that cross and bore our sins. Walking in this kind of love is what will give us our greatest joy and peace.    

• “Keeps no record of being wronged” refers to the refusal to forgive someone of a wrongdoing. To accept the Jesus that died on the cross is to receive the forgiveness HE offered through our repentance. To not forgive others is to reject the entire meaning of the cross. Forgiveness can sometimes be a process, but it at least needs to start. Don’t let satan rob your blessings. Forgive and move on. Let this guide our thoughts today.
