Let this guide our day today

1 Corinthians 10 NLT  13 The temptations in your life are no different from what others experience. And God is faithful. He will not allow the temptation to be more than you can stand. When you are tempted, he will show you a way out so that you can endure.  

• The darkness that covers this earth and greater darkness the people (Isaiah 60:2) will tempt you from time to time. This comes with free will. Sometimes the Lord allows this to happen so that HE can draw you back to Him.  

• If temptation begins to overwhelm you, God is drawing you closer to HIM. He’s opening a door for you to step deeper into His presence through HIS word. Regardless of how frustrated or angry we may be, go through the door HE has provided. We may not see the outcome right away, but we will be glad we opened the book and walked in. Let this guide our thoughts today.
