Let this guide our day today

Ephesians 1

13 And now you Gentiles have also heard the truth, the Good News
that God saves you. And when you believed in Christ, he identified you as his
own by giving you the Holy Spirit, whom he promised long ago. 14 The Spirit is God’s guarantee that he will
give us the inheritance he promised and that he has purchased us to be his own
people. He did this so we would praise and glorify him.

-The beauty of this text is
that whether Jew or Gentile, all who believe in Jesus the Christ as Lord and
savior have the same eternal outcome. Jesus has your eternal salvation sealed
but He also has you covered, blessed, protected, filled with peace and joy from
the womb to the tomb.

-We spend so much
time worrying and trying to handle the impossible ourselves when all blessings
beyond our thinking lie within the life, death, and resurrection of the cross.
Our job is to praise HIM whether we feel like it or not. We don’t praise Him because
of how we feel. We praise Him because of what He did for us. When we do, He
takes care of the rest regardless of how challenging it is. Let this guide our
thoughts today.
