Let this guide our day today

1 Thessalonians 5

23 May God himself, the God of peace, sanctify you through and through. May your
whole spirit, soul and body be kept blameless at the coming of our
Lord Jesus Christ.

-The people of Thessalonica had
to realize that true peace came from God not the Roman emperor. Spirit, soul,
and body in its entirety should seek and submit all we are to the Lord.

-The Lord wants all of you so
that He can bless all of you. True peace and true joy only come from the
Father. Let us turn our eyes upon Him and rest assure He’s got us in every way
we can imagine. Let this guide our thoughts today.
