Let this guide our day today

Psalms 147

3 He heals the brokenhearted and bandages their wounds.

-The restoration and return of Israel to the land is
expressed as spiritual and physical healing. Isaiah 61:1 uses some of the same
words—bandages the brokenhearted—which Jesus the Messiah
fulfilled.

-Whatever we are going through,
we serve a God who predicted 700 years before the birth of Christ that a
Messiah was coming to heal the brokenhearted and bandage our wounds. Our time
on this earth will bring sorrow and hurt but the power of Jesus is as alive
today as it was the day it was prophesied. Let this guide our thoughts today.
