Psalms 27 NLT
10 Even if my father and mother abandon me, the LORD will hold me close.

- Both of David's parents have in fact disowned him, but that beyond their breaking-point the love of God would still persist; indeed that it begins where man's leaves off. 
- No matter how much you mean to people there is always the chance of abandonment. Regardless of who in this world does you wrong and who attempts to crumble your joy, peace, and dreams we serve a God who will hold us close in these times of need. Never abandon your walk with HIM because He will never abandon you.
