Let this guide our day today

Isaiah 40 NLT

11 He will feed his flock like a shepherd. He will carry the lambs in his arms,
holding them close to his heart. He will gently lead the mother sheep with their young.

-This passage shows how much God cares for His people. It is also an image of Christ in John 10:22-29 where Jesus says those who follow Me know my voice and no one can snatch them away from me. 
-Regardless of every bad leader in this world who uses you for their own benefit the Lord will guide and lead you, protect you and love you, and never leave you or forsake you. This is something to hold onto during our times of trouble and confusion.
