Let this guide our day today

2 Corinthians 5 NLT
18 And all of this is a gift from God, who brought us back to himself through Christ. And God has given us this task of reconciling people to him. 19 For God was in Christ, reconciling the world to himself, no longer counting people's sins against them. And he gave us this wonderful message of reconciliation.

-Reconciled us Refers to the end of hostility between God and people. Christ's death provided the means of reconciliation. His suffering made peace between God and humanity possible. Through Christ, we are now one with the Father, Son, and the Holy Spirit. 
-Think of how much we protect our kids because they are ours. How much more are we in God's protection because we belong to HIM.
