Matthew 6 NIV
11 Give us today our daily bread.

-A few verses before it says, Matthew 6: 8 "Therefore do not be like them. For your Father knows the things you have need of before you ask Him. 9 In this manner, therefore, pray: - Jesus was saying don't just pray words but rather with the understanding of these Holy Scriptures.
-The daily bread is both food for the body and food for the soul. Don't just pray words, give God back His words to Him. The Lord loves it when we go to Him and say, "You said!" Give God His word back to Him today and every day. What a difference prayer becomes.
