Isaiah 46

4 I will be your God throughout your lifetime—until your hair is white with age. I made you, and I will care for you.I will carry you along and save you.

- This passage plays off the Hebrew words for “carry” and “save” to demonstrate the superiority of Yahweh over the idols. Whether we admit it or not one thing we idolize repeatedly is worry, fear, and the like. If the Lord is the One who will carry us and save us, then He is the one we place our entire lives before. Our blessings increase when we get our priorities in order. Let this guide our thoughts today.
