Psalms 40

1 I waited patiently for the Lord to help me,and he turned to me and heard my cry.

-Waited patiently, The Hebrew verb form used here indicates intensity. David waited patiently and intently for Yahweh to deliver him. I don’t think we can understand how serious David’s situations were. ALL OF THEM were life and death but instead of running he waited on the hand of God to move and move it always did. Let this guide our thoughts today.
